A lovely Vintage Gown by a wonderful designer ~ Victor Costa ~ we are offering it at a discounted rate due to some minor imperfections. This design has many possibilities.... Amazing colors in shades of pink, rose, coral pink, grape, metallic gold & bronze. Outer layer is a sheer white organza fabric with the color pattern throughout. Inner layer is a pretty pink salmon fabric ~ possibly rayon ~ which glows through the organza beautifully.
Waist & hem have grape felt that is adorned with Beautiful Purple Glass Rhinestones & Gold decorative work. Excellent quality ... they are pushed through the fabric & crimped into place not glued on.
Bodice has a Chinese theme with little cap sleeves & close fitting collar which has a metal hook & eye closure. Zippered back with 2 additional hook & eyes at the back of the neck & waist area.

Quality is Excellent. Condition is Very Good. A few of the gold decorative pieces have broken off. Most of the rhinestones are still present but a couple are missing. Some of the gold metallic foil has started to fray here and there but it does not compromise the fabric. It is actually woven into the fabric. These can easily be snipped with a sharp pair of scissors if you have some extra time. There is just a tad of discoloration along the neckline where some gold paint was used .. possibly skin paint ... this may have been worn to a costume party before by the previous owner. She was a well known socialite. Not very noticeable but we wanted to mention just the same. Overall this dress is quite nice ~ no rips, tears or storage stains whatsoever.
