Details:
A lovely Vintage Emilio Pucci Wrap Skirt from the early 1970's. A striking display of colors in blue, cornflower blue, green & pale green, olive green, orange, dark magenta & white in soft cotton. Fabulous print with flowers, vines, berries & leaves splashed amongst bold shapes & patterns. Signature Emilio signature throughout.
A cute shorter length designed to wrap around your waist & snap together on the left side with 6 fabric covered metal snaps. 2 metal hook & eyes hold the waist in place nicely. There are two distinct wide pleats in the front of the skirt where the fabric has been folded over & stitched in place at the waist & a few inches futher down. This allows for a lot of movement as the skirt opens up towards the hem. An extremely wearable design even today.
Label: Emilio Pucci ~ Florence Italy. Made in Italy. 100% Pure Cotton.
Quality is Superb. Condition is very good to Excellent. There are 2 issues with this beautiful skirt. The colors have lightly run in a few places ~ probably washed in warm water instead of cold. This may or may not fade with proper cleanings in time. It is not overly noticeable unless you are right on top of the fabric ~ we enclosed a close up photo for your inspection. The other issue is a very small hole in the fabric at the corner of one of the pleats ~ see close up photo. It is not obvious unless you really look for it. These issues do not compromise the wearability of this little piece of history but we have discounted it significantly due to this. The fabric is still vibrant. No stains, odors or other issues.
