This is one of the more unique pieces of luggage we have come across. A Vintage piece in a rich plaid fabric in hues of green, navy, yellow and black. The interior is lined with an iridescent satin which reflects in shades of burgundy, copper, and a purple blue. The fabric also has a wavy pattern to it which also moves with the light. Interior pocket at the bottom to hold extra goodies. The working zipper opens along the top. Has a lock with working key. Handle and trim are done in black vinyl (made to look like leather). 2 little metal feet at bottom. This piece is a little worn along the edges, the handle, etc. but has tons of character and is still in perfect working order. Nice display piece but can still be used.
Label: Lark ~ It's a Lark ~ Droutman Mfg Co. New York. Original embroidered label still attached on the inside. Also labeled Lark on the lock area.
Quality is Excellent. Condition is Very Good. No strong odors, rips, tears, etc. The lining has a little discoloring but it sort of adds to the character. No major water stains. The stitching on the handle has come a little loose in couple of areas but is still fully functional. Zipper works great.
It is a little dusty on the exterior but will be gently cleaned before shipping out to you.
Measurements: 16" across by 6 1/2" tall.
